Getting security warnings? Install Monkeybrains as a Certificate Authority into your browser.
- To install in Firebox (The browser you should be using), just click on the link and install the certificate as and 'Authority' ... make sure you check the 'Trust this CA to identify web sites' button.
- If you use Thunderbird (The email reading program you should be using),

  1. right click on the link above,
  2. Save the Certificate to your desktop,
  3. launch Thunderbird (if it isn't running already),
  4. From the menu select 'Preferences',
  5. Click on 'Advanced' from the menu that pops up,
  6. Click on Certificates,
  7. Click on 'Manage Certificates',
  8. Select the 'Authorities' tab,
  9. click Import and pick the cert you saved in step 2,
  10. check 'Trust this CA to identify web sites'.

Here are domains and IP lists blocked from MonkeyBrains. Requests to be removed from this list should be sent to spamban@monkeybrains.net.

  1. One Day - in one day, more than 4707 spams are blocked. This page shows you the logs of my mailserver from one day in May.
  2. SPAM DOMAINS - a list of spamming domains . Mostly manually added.
  3. EMAIL HARVESTERS - a list of IPs which attempt to 'guess' email addresses on monkeybrains by trying random user names over and over again. This list is automated. More info
  4. Joe Wein's list - These people have a lot of domains I was blocking, and I realized their list was more comprehensive.
